Flatbush Zombies Announce "Day of the Dead" Online Singles Series

Blunted-out rap trio Flatbush Zombies are apparently smoking us up with a series of releases next week, capping with a Friday (March 28) launch of a new online singles series fittingly dubbed "Day of the Dead."

The crew revealed their upcoming plans in a teaser video today (March 21), with Meechy Darko noting that they're ready to "stimulate your mind" with the upcoming freebie series. Producer/rapper Erick Arc Elliott added that roughly five new tracks will be unveiled over the course of the next few weeks.

The group let loose their "LiT" single back in February, noting that the track would appear on a forthcoming follow-up to last year's Better Off Dead mixtape, It's All a Matter of Perspective. It's unclear at present if the singles series is being issued in place of the mixtape or perhaps gathered up for the release.

Ahead of the "Day of the Dead" launch date, Flatbush Zombies will be letting loose even more goodies. Next Monday (March 24) they'll be serving up some behind-the-scenes videos being billed as Zombievision, while Tuesday they'll be issuing all kinds of merch, from snapback hats and skullies to tTshirts. Nothing's go on for the group on Wednesday, save for drinking and smoking, apparently, but they'll pump out some promo posters for the fans on Thursday.
