Did You Catch the Zombie Cameo on Last Night's 'Walking Dead'?

Last month we shined the spotlight on six zombie cameos you might have missed on The Walking Dead - fun little Easter egg homages that makeup effects artist/producer Greg Nicotero likes to throw in from time to time. Everyone from Dawn of the Dead's 'Flyboy' to the undead Jack from An American Werewolf in London has showed up for quick appearances in the past, and last night Nicotero continued the 'Where's Waldo?' fun with a tribute to perhaps the most beloved zombie of all time.

In the Nicotero-directed episode - which you can read a recap of right here on FEARNET - Glenn and Tara bravely trekked through a dark, zombie-infested tunnel, which both of them narrowly escaped with their lives. The scene very much evoked the feeling of George Romero's Day of the Dead, and Nicotero capitalized on that fact by inserting a pretty familiar looking zombie into the proceedings, who was only seen in quick blink and you'll miss him flashes.

In the event that you indeed did blink and miss him, check out a couple screen grabs from Bub's cameo below, which come to us courtesy of Cannibal Reviews! The original Day of the Dead was the first film Nicotero worked on, serving as Tom Savini's assistant and even appearing on screen in a brief role. A career come full circle, to say the least!
